Livestock sector

Since 1960s and according to the livestock breeding importance, the government has set up several activities to promote the sector. The main activities initiated were: animal identification, animal performances recording, Artificial Insemination and Natural mating and herd book handling. These programs have been progressively developed. Since its creation in 1966, OEP is mandated to supervise these programs:
